What Is OUD?
OUD (Agarwood) is a natural aromatic wood formed when the Aquilaria tree produces resin as a biological response to natural environmental processes. This resin creates the distinctive oud aroma—warm, deep, rich, luxurious, and calming.
For thousands of years, oud has been highly valued in Middle Eastern and Asian traditions as a symbol of luxury, spirituality, hospitality, and inner tranquility.
What Is BAKHOOR?
BAKHOOR is a blended incense product made by combining oud chips with other aromatic materials such as natural resins, fragrance oils, and traditional ingredients. When burned, it releases layered, long-lasting fragrant smoke.

Mosques and spiritual spaces
Scenting clothes and textiles
Welcoming guests as a sign of respect
Why BAKHOOR Is Different
Due to the high technical complexity of blending, formulation stability, and aroma consistency, we do not currently produce Bakhoor.
Our Bakhoor production is planned for approximately 2–3 years in the future, once our formulation systems and R&D are fully optimized.
At present, our full focus is on OUD production, not blended incense.
Simple Difference Between OUD & BAKHOOR
OUD = Natural agarwood with inherent aroma
BAKHOOR = Processed incense made from oud and additional fragrance materials
Both offer a luxurious aromatic experience, but serve different purposes and markets.
OUD Categories Based on Origin
From a sourcing and market perspective, OUD is divided into two main categories:
1. Pure Oud – Rare, Expensive, and Finite
Pure Oud comes from fossilized or naturally resin-rich agarwood with a very high concentration of natural resin. Because the resin is already abundant, this type of oud can be cut, graded, and sold directly.
However:
Pure Oud is increasingly rare
Prices continue to rise sharply
Natural supply is finite and will eventually be depleted
For many businesses, Pure Oud is no longer a sustainable or scalable option.
2. Alternative Oud – The Future of the Oud Industry
Alternative Oud is produced from agarwood that contains very little or no natural resin. To create aromatic value, the wood is processed using a controlled resin injection system, infusing agarwood resin or other natural aromatic resins into the structure of the wood.
This approach provides:
